Gower Coastal Cottages

Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen. All in all a lovely place to stay for a few days enjoying the Gower. Communication with Jo was excellent. Highly recommend!

A great stay! A massive comfy bed, nice towels and Netflix on the tv. Jo even gave us a little happy birthday balloon for my wife’s birthday. Everything was well equipped and easy. Also a handy welcome pack with recommendations. Right in the middle of the Gower so easy access to everything. We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend our stay. Thanks Jo!

We had a marvellous stay on the Gower at Y Llofft. Jo is a very friendly and helpful host, responsive and appropriately attentive. Y Llofft is very well appointed to a high standard and is very comfortable with great facilities. The location makes all of the Gower’s well known places easily accessible but on the quieter north coast. It’s a good place to stay for a short visit or a more extended stay, like us. The balcony and views over the marshland from the living space mean the accommodation is a good place to relax as well as a base for trips out. Highly recommended.

What an absolute hidden gem! We absolutely loved Y Stabl - it was perfect! The place was spotlessly clean on arrival and extremely well equipped - Jo has though of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen was larger than expected and had plenty of good quality utensils crockery and glasses. There was a nice private space to sit outside and also use of a larger seating area in the garden. It’s a peaceful and private setting with lovely walks right on the doorstep, and only a short drive from lovely beaches. There are 2 pubs in the village, and the Welcome has a varied menu and is really friendly. Jo is a great host and was quick to respond if we needed anything. We highly recommend Y Stabl and will definitely be returning.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Y Stabel. I came down to the Gower Peninsula for a wedding at Oldwalls and this was just the perfect location. Surroundings are beautiful! Instructions to get to Airbnb and inside were very clear. Thanks Jo!

Had a fantastic stay at Jo's place. Very comfortable mattress, clean flat and great location. We were just off the coastal path, so we were perfectly situated for long walks and exploring the loal area. Walking distance to 2 local pubs. Jo was on hand to answer any questions we had and was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!!

Nice place in the centre of the Gower eg it’s not right next to any of the highlights but is an easy drive to all of them. Very well furnished and very clean and everything you need. It does have sloping ceilings (lloft) so if you are very tall or hate bending over occasionally, be aware. Oh, and do read Jo’s very precise instructions as the postcode does not go to the house but nearby. Great stay.

They say people make places - and the Jo was wonderful! We were let down by a cab company ahead of a wedding ceremony at nearby Fairy Hill and Jo very kindly took us to the venue. She is a super warm host and made our stay memorable. The farmhouse itself is spotless - particularly loved the bedroom, where the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom is up a set of steep stairs in the loft, so if you're tall/physically disadvantaged it's probably not the right place. Overall it's a great spot for exploring the Gower for 1-2 days given it's proximity to the beaches (10 minutes to Rossili). I personally wouldn't opt for a longer term stay as ultimately you are staying on someone's property opposite their house, but it was perfect for what we needed
